Cluster Puck is Coming! That's right
Cluster Pluck, from St. Louis, will be here October 11th.
Along with local song writer Greg Laudeman,
poet Kemmer Anderson and writer Dana Shavin....
could it get any bigger? Well maybe, but that
will have to wait.October's Session is going
to be a hot one. Cluster Pluck has been on a
tear this summer through the festival circuit. Cluster Pluck is a blend
of potent homegrown harmonies and morning melodies.
Utilizing a few traditional bluegrass instruments and 5 part vocal attack, The Pluck is anything but traditional. Banjo driven,
Bass anchored, Washboard Slapping, Violin cutting and Mandolin searing, Cluster Pluck's original songs would fall somewhere in the
Newgrass genre. With great Pop sensibility, a little Rock N' Roll swagger, and roots deep in all things Country,
this music will both excite and delight listeners from all corners of life. Each member individually writes music and plays
multiple instruments, keeping their sound fresh and diverse.I don't even have room to list all the festivals and people
they have played with.....
Dana and Kemmer have worked up a special treat. These two long time friends are going to read in
response poetry and memoir. I've had a slight taste.... it is going to fun.
Greg Lauderman has written a song to commemorate the Battle of Chickamauga. This will be the first time it is
performed in public. He has handpicked a band to perform with. Awesome!
Welcome to our new friends I met in Little Switzerland last week. We are growing well out of just Chattanooga with
listeners in VT, TX, FL, TN, CA, IL, New Zealand and Great Britan to name a few.
The River City Sessionsis happy to announce our partnership with Ketner's Mill. They have signed on as a sponsor and you can
expect to see a few of our regulars there on October 19th for the accoustic tent. Don't miss this incredible festival!
