Our feature band, led by Billie in the Woods, from here in
Chattanooga is a “super group” made up of Fiddlin
Faye, Charles Gaston, Eric Tittsworth and Chris Lecroy.
I have probably received more pre-show comment about
this particular group than any other, some as far
away as Atlanta. Their brand of Americana Folk, much of it original will
definitely get you up and out of your seats.

I will be telling a story for the first time that I have been
holding on to and researching for ten years since reading about it in the
archives of The Asheville newspaper. The Tale of Jeannie Bell, a woman who
walked with seven children across the mountains from Asheville N.C. to see her
husband who was held as a prisoner of war in Knoxville during the height of the

Five generations alter Thad Oliver the namesake of Thaddeus Oliver poet and writer will be reciting his poem All is Quite on the Potomac Tonight, later made into the song of Civil War fame.
